152Q is a red table wine, designed in 2021 in a collaboration between Sanctuary Vineyards and Friends of the Museum of the Albemarle, the foundation support group of the Museum of the Albemarle, a regional division of the North Carolina Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.
Proceeds of the wine were donated to the museum foundation for support of education programs and exhibitions at the Museum of the Albemarle.
152Q is inspired as a red table wine by Pedro de Quexoia, a Spanish explorer marking the first true arrival of Europeans to the coast of North Carolina by 60 years prior in 1520 to the famous arrival of Sir Walter Raleigh and the Lost Colony colonists.
