This film was made in part with the Museum of the Albemarle to promote the exhibit, Joshua, Judges, and Jesus: An Archaeological Journey Through the Bible.
This exhibit features archaeological findings from the Biblical city of Ai found in the book of Joshua 7-8.

And the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not fear and do not be dismayed. Take all the fighting men with you, and arise, go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, and his people, his city, and his land."
-Joshua 8:1, ESV

The site is nine miles north of Jerusalem and currently known as Khirbet el-Maqatir. On display are over 50 artifacts from the Bronze Age (2200-1500 BC) through the Byzantine Period (AD 324-638). They help us understand the complex daily lives of the early people of the Middle East. These artifacts give credence to Biblical history with a timeline of the people and cultures of the region.

We also wish to acknowledge the following groups for their roles in putting this exhibition together: Associates for Biblical Research, The Civil Administration in Judea & Samaria, David A. Dorsey Museum of Biblical Archaeology, Larry D. Cooper DVM, Friends of the Museum of the Albemarle, The Institute of Archaeology Siegfried H. Horn Museum, Mid-Atlantic Christian University.
